Allarme Droga dello Stupro ai party universitari fiorentini

L’allarme arriva dalle strutture sanitare fiorentine che nelle ultime settimane hanno accolto e assistito un numero crescente di studentesse universitarie italiane e straniere che si sono rivolte a loro con la paura di aver subito uno stupro: zero ricordi, sotto shock, dolore fisico diffuso.

La costante nei racconti delle vittime è il prima della ‘nebbia’: aver accettato e bevuto Free Cocktail da compagni di università o comunque da persone fidate, conosciute, insospettabili.

Impossile non pensare al caso di Gisèle Pelicot e alla recente sentenza Ciro Grillo, che dimostrano come il tema del consenso è urgente come spiega anche Amnesty International: giovani uomini che ignorano completamente il diritto della compagne di decidere lucidamente il proseguio delle serate universitarie. La Droga dello Stupro è un cocktail di sostanze che rimuovono resistenza e memoria in chi l’assume.

Le giovani donne, molte a Firenze con programma Erasmus, doloranti e scioccate si rivolgono alle strutture sanitarie locali per verificare cosa gli è accaduto e proteggere la loro salute.

L’unico modo per prevenire malattie infettive come l’HIV, quindi l’AIDS, è entro 72 ore dal rapporto cominciare la profilassi farmacologica.

Il personale sanitario locale è in allarme attivo, raccogliamo il loro alert nella speranza che una rapida condivisione via social e web possa salvare qualche ragazza e scoraggiare questo orribile fenomeno.

Se pensate di essere state vittime di abuso e stupro sotto l’effetto della Droga dello Stupro, rivolgetevi all’ospedale più vicino. Non c’è obbligo di denuncia anche se è consigliata per proteggere voi e salvare altre giovani donne. Sappiamo che le giovani universitarie hanno già avviato un tam tam e molte hanno ormai paura di uscire dagli studentati.

Il consiglio che vi ribadiamo è non accettate da bere da nessuno, nemmeno da uomini e ragazzi che conoscete e non perdete mai di vista il vostro bicchiere: la sostanza di cui stiamo parlando è incolore e insapore, spesso viene somministrata mentre ci si sposta per il locale con il cocktail in mano.

Alcuni locali fiorentini hanno già adottato le contromisure servendo i drink coperti da una coppetta di plastica dove si può infilare solo la cannuccia.

E soprattutto ricordatevi che non avete colpa, mai. La vergogna è di chi fa violenza non di chi la subisce.

Alert: Date Rape Drug at Florence University Parties

The alarm comes from Florence’s healthcare facilities, which in recent weeks have welcomed and assisted a growing number of Italian and international university students who turned to them in fear of having been raped: no memory, in shock, widespread physical pain.

A constant in the victims’ accounts is the moment before the “fog”: having accepted and drunk Free Cocktails offered by fellow students or otherwise by trusted, familiar, unsuspected people.

It is impossible not to think of the case of Gisèle Pelicot and the recent Ciro Grillo ruling, both of which show how urgent the issue of consent is, as Amnesty International also explains: young men who completely ignore their companions’ right to clearly decide how their university nights unfold. The Date Rape Drug is a cocktail of substances that erase resistance and memory in those who ingest it.

Many young women—several in Florence on Erasmus programs—seek help from local healthcare services, in pain and shock, to understand what has happened to them and to protect their health.

The only way to prevent infectious diseases such as HIV, and therefore AIDS, is to start pharmacological prophylaxis within 72 hours of intercourse.

Local healthcare staff are on active alert, and we share their warning in the hope that rapid dissemination via social networks and the web may save some girls and discourage this horrific phenomenon.

If you believe you may have been a victim of abuse or rape under the effect of the Date Rape Drug, go to the nearest hospital. Filing a police report is not mandatory, though it is recommended to protect yourself and other young women. We know that university students have already begun spreading the word, and many are now afraid to leave their dormitories.

Our advice remains the same: never accept a drink from anyone — not even from men or boys you know — and never lose sight of your glass. The substance we are talking about is colorless and tasteless, and is often slipped in while you are moving around the venue with your cocktail in hand.
